My Artwork is primarily figurative insofar as it is the cultural patina or imprint which fascinates me. What is it about a face or object that tells us its history? How can I create work in which meaning is belied by the nature of its form? The way in which I work is fluid and expressive, or attempts to portray those qualities in such a way that style is the subject, and the object is merely a focus of play, and an element of meaning.
